Software Workflows Matter

Early design stages dictate the need to rapidly develop designs, create and explore options and present them with photorealism, maybe in a metaverse..

NXUS BIM has lead its clients through the workflows we devise for each project, to connect the project's concept design stage 2D and 3D content to the spatially coordinated VDC BIM realm.

The ability to convert the concept design content in to 3D BIM elements, results in seamless software workflows that maintains the fidelity of the concept models and drawings which can be further developed using the BIM tools.

RHINO TO REVIT WORKFLOWS

Whilst Rhino Inside Revit is an available option, in some cases the model geometry has already been created in Rhino and needs to be spatially coordinated and converted to Revit elements. The 2D CAD files can be combined to verify the position and location of the 3D elements prior to conversion to Revit solid elements.

Why Convert To Native BIM Elements?

In order for the modelled 3D elements to respond to view controls, render correctly, appear in schedules and have the ability to have asset information parameters and data attributed to them, they need to become native BIM elements. This can be applied to any incoming 3D model geometry that hosts within the context of the project BIM.

CAD to BIM

The majority of projects that engage BIM process, begin with CAD processes. This is mostly due to the rapid 2D and dimensionally accurate design exploration CAD can provide. Once the design is frozen and approved, the conversion from CAD to BIM begins.

NXUS BIM have extensive experience with complex and challenging designs. Our Intimate understanding of the modelling and parameter toolset allows your design to be both resolved and parametrically adaptable.
