Digital Project Delivery
A Building Information Model fed with structured data parameters and quality information, will result in useful operations data being output. The "chicken & egg" scenarion is applicable to digital handover, as you cannot have one without the other.
Structured Input Delivers Functional Output
The fundamental nature of effective Information Management requires industry standards invested in protocols that are implemented during the creation of the Building Information Models.
When project stakeholders are provided with clear instruction and support, they deliver structured asset data in the format the building operator can effectively connect to their operation systems and methods.

NXUS BIM understands the nature of effective Information Management and will deliver verified as-built data sets that meet the stipulations of the project Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and the Asset Information Requirements (AIR).

NXUS BIM considers your building's asset information to be just as important as the physical asset itself. You would not tolerate paying a subcontractor to install an specified asset, only for them to omit it. Nor should you tolerate the absence of its specified asset information in the handover information. Our methods ensure this does not beccome the case.

Building and asset data has a journey that begins with a building, a space, and an object representing the asset. Our Golden Matrix strategiies ensure Digital Handover.
Is your organisation requesting the asset data fundamental to your operational needs?

NXUS BIM interact with all stakeholders including the building owner/operator, to establish the BIM scope for the maintained assets. We ensure the operations team are aware of the scope of the design, and agree which components of the BIM are to be manifested as 3D objects rich in COBie and Golden Thread data needed for operations.

The fundamental actions from input to output are:

-
Detailed Responsibility Matrix (DRM) that defines the agreed specific BIM delivery requirement for maintained assets and serves the operational needs
-
Regular BIM workshops with subcontractors and suppliers where their developing asset data set is monitored and steered in line with the BIM Execution Plan
-
As-built verification audit of handover models and data with corrective instruction to achieve compliance
-
Models and data are collated in to the final handover deliverables and uploaded to CDE for review by operations team
