Shoreline Folkstone

The segmented radiating plan form of shoreline, with split levels and undulating facade presented a complex environment to design within and document.
Engagement with the architects from day one established the 2D and 3D CAD to BIM workflows to facilitate the primary layout of the building.

Challenges where window and door Families needed to host within the curved walls were resolved and design simulation facilitated reducing the variations in windows and doors to a smaller standardised set.

Canopy Hilton (Interior)

The complex hotel incorporate repeated room layouts. The tools of Revit were employed to unify not only room layouts around the building, but to create variations on the FFE.

Feature bedhead variations were manufactured from an adaptive Revit Family for the different rooms and applications using Parametric modelling.

The careful use of Groups ensured that the interior had uniformity and ease of scheduling complex assemblies and assets.

Canopy Hilton (Exterior)

A strategy was required to convert the facade developed using Grasshopper and Rhino to Revit to facilitate documentation and tenderring.

The Revit toolset was used to create adaptable objects that were assembled to form the integrated facade as originally designed.

The construction process derived from the Revit drawing packages ensured that the simulated design in Revit was manufactured and installed to stunning effect.
